Like I said before I love snow. So when it dumped 22 inches of snow in North Carolina, my husband and I decided we had to go skiing. It worked out pretty nicely seeing as we were headed home to Atlanta for Christmas break anyway. SO we loaded the car, headed to Asheville, stayed in the only room left in the one of the hotels...the jacuzzi suite (pretty amazing!), woke up the next morning and skied all day at Cataloochee Mountain.
Cullen did one of his church placements in Maggie Valley, so we were blessed with free lift tickets and ski rentals by one of the members of the church. It was a beautiful day and we had been dying to go skiing for quite some time!
It was a GREAT way to start our Christmas Break!
