Yes terrariums, but not from your 6th grade science room. I feel that terrariums have made a comeback latey and I am a huge fan. I love to have living things in my home, but with that said I like unique house plants, so the terrarium works great. I have been wanting to make one and the other day I was a Lowe's and found the perfect plant to put inside my terrarium....
Venus Fly Traps. I bought two different kinds: one purple and one green one.
I added a piece of coral that I found at the beach last summer (I collect random things like that, you never know when you are going to use them).
Then I arranged them all together in a plastic plant liner. I put some moss around the base of the plants and coral to tie it all together.
Then I found the perfect terrarium, I call it the bubble. It has a large enough whole so that I could put the plants inside without ruining the arrangement but still looks like a bubble from certain angles.
And whala... a cool terrarium

And of course my favorite, but its not a plant terrarium.... its red shrimp. (I prefer to call them sea monkeys) They are completely self sufficient and require no cleaning. You can find them at
Brookstone for $65 to $250 each! I really want one myself!
