When I first started dating Cullen he loved treating me with surprises
I hated them at first
they made me nervous - what if I hated the surprise.
(I'm terrible like that)
Then, the more I fell in love with him
the more I realized he knows me pretty well and
that means he knows what I like and don't like.
He even surprised me with our Honeymoon -
and of course it was exactly what I could have dreamed up.
For my 28
th birthday he surprised me with a trip to London.
We hopped on an early morning train
Stayed at the most adorable boutique hotel in South
Kensington,
Number Sixteen
Cullen wanted to buy me a piece of jewellery for my birthday
so we headed off to
Portobello Road in
Notting Hill.
One of
Lindsay's friends took us to her jewellery guy there
and
he was amazing -
he is making me rings!
Needless to say their was a queue of ladies waiting to see him
He had some beautiful stuff, uncut black diamonds, enormous emerald earnings,
chunky gold cuffs, he even made rings for Johnny Depp.
I choose two thin hammered gold bands.
It was a ridiculously crowded day at the markets
being the warmest day England had seen since summer
It was our third trip to London,
so we didn't feel pressured to see everything - which is great.
On Sunday stopped by the V&A which was really wonderful
We took a stroll through Hyde Park
and said good bye to London
- I really like you.
Good thing we will be back a few weeks!
