Cullen and I are both fortunate enough to still have spring break--yes all of you who have real jobs should be jealous.
This year we hopped in the car and headed to Milledgeville, Georgia to visit our good friends Kim and Phil.
While in Milledgeville, we visited Flannery O'Connor's farm house where she wrote most of her books. When she lived on the farm she had over 50 peacocks living on the property.

And of course, we also enjoyed meeting Kim and Phil's new dog, Waylan--who gave me puppy fever. I have picked out a few dogs...maybe I will post them. But my rational side (and my husband) keeps reminding me that I don't need a dog right now....should I listen?
After Kim and Phil's we headed to Charleston. Where we enjoyed walking around the city and seeing all of the beautiful downtown churches.
We stayed in a cute hotel right downtown,
we ate great food,
and of course the beach! (finally some warm weather).
It was a wonderful vacation, completed by our one last stop on the way home... If you have ever driven on I-95 North of Charleston you can't miss the unending stream of billboards for Pedro's South of the Boarder, Cullen and I had to make a pit stop to check it out.
