Like I said before, I love Christmas! These are just a few things that make me smile when I am home:
1) My tree... I wish we could have trees in our house year round!
2) I couldn't handle not having a cheery door way, so i put a planter indoors (I'm still waiting for it to keel over since it gets zero sunlight) but its bizarre how happy this wonky little plant makes me. I even put ornaments on it...it's So Gimpy!
3) Mulling Spices. These guys make your home smell AMAZING! Its like canned goodness! You can get them from Williams Sonoma (or I bet you could make your own if you really want to).
4) Check out these stockings! Have you ever seen such scrawny stockings....I found them in the most random store in Durham, Morgan Imports. It has anything and everything you could ever imagine, from a free yard stick, to futons, to Christmas villages, to pots and pans....seriously everything!
5) Gingerbread Cookies... I have my grandmothers recipe and it not Christmas without a gingerbread man!

I found your blog from my friend Emily Pirkle. She works with your Dad. Anyhow, it's such a great space you have here! My best friend used to live in Durham and when I went to visit we always went to Morgan Imports. I love that store.
